Clay joined CapSouth in 2022 and is an Associate Advisor for the Private Wealth Division. Alongside the other members of that team, Clay works with families and individuals to design comprehensive estate plans that meet the complex needs of high-net worth households and to craft appropriate investment strategies. He also facilitates integrating the identified values of a family across multiple generations to accomplish their goals and perpetuate lasting impact.

Prior to CapSouth, Clay worked in New York City as a Senior Director and Vice-President of Advancement for Redeemer City to City (CTC), a non-profit founded by Tim Keller, that works in global cities. Before working with CTC, Clay led a private real estate venture in Manhattan.

Clay and his wife, Lyn, reside in Atlanta. Prior to the move to Atlanta, they lived on the Upper East Side in Manhattan for 15 years. They’ve also enjoyed living in China for 2 years and in the southeast region of the US. Clay and Lyn have twin daughters, Hope and Emma, who attend Furman University and the University of Alabama respectively. Clay enjoys traveling, playing golf and listening to all types of music, but jazz in particular.
